Rumours – Fleetwood Mac – 1977

Rumours – Fleetwood Mac – 1977
Recognized as Fleetwood Mac’s best album and considered by many to be one of the greatest albums of all time, “Rumours” is the essence of classic rock. Fleetwood Mac’s eleventh studio album, released in 1977, “Rumours” is one of the biggest-selling albums of all time. “Rumours” received much critical as well as commercial success. The album was recorded in 1976, during a period of time when most of the band members were trying to overcome various relationship issues associated with romantic breakups. The intensity of the tension and rawness of the band members emotions were somehow absorbed in the album’s music creating some of the best music ever recorded. Rumours’ black and white album cover, featuring a photograph of Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks in a fairytale-like pose, is simple, yet it has a very mystical feel to it.
